Home Study Group: The next meeting will be at 8pm on Wednesday 22 February at 13 Spinners Close.

Active Church takes place on 19th February at 10:30am in Smarden Church. We continue to offer a mix of crafts, games and activities, together with some reflection and prayer. We hope you can join us. Speak to Catherine Wilson if you have any questions 07511 625107.

Funeral of Judith Black will take place on Friday February 24th at 2.15pm in Smarden Church.

Church Floodlighting: THankyou to Sally & Martin Giles for volunteering to do the administration of the Church floodlighting donations in Biddenden.

Help with administration of the chalice: With a combination of retirements, moving away, and ill health both congregations are seeking new people to assist with administration of the chalice.

Looking ahead to Sunday 26th February, in line with our churches’ stated aim to increase lay involvement in our services, we are delighted that on Feb 26th the main speakers at our Eucharist services will be Julie Lupton (Biddenden) and Tony Richter (Smarden).

Women’s World Day of Prayer Service: Takes place at St Michael’s Church on Friday 3rd March at 7.30pm (7pm for refreshments). This is an Interdenominational service prepared by Christian women from the Philippines. This service is open to all, men included!

Electoral Roll: If you regularly worship here, then it is good to have you on our Electoral Roll. It helps us keep in contact with you and gives you the right to vote at our Annual Church Meeting. Forms are available at the back of church and should be returned to David King for Smarden (Kia-Ora, Pluckley Road, Smarden TN27 8NQ) and the Benefice office for Biddenden (c/o The Rectory, 36 High Street Biddenden TN17 4AH) or contact Catherine Wilson

Looking ahead Lent Lunches (homemade soup and bread) will be held in All Saints Biddenden following the 11am services on March 12th, March 26th (Mothering Sunday) and April 9th (Palm Sunday).
