The Biddenden Homemakers BBQ will be on 18 July at 7.30pm at Barn Cottage. Please contact Elizabeth Rickwood if you would like to come.

Deanery Quiet Day is on Saturday 21 July at St Mary’s Kenardington, 9.30 – 4pm. Lead by Neville Emslie, and entitled ‘Hope in a Time of Confusion’. See leaflets at the back of both churches for more details.

Recorder Concert Mix of modern and early music. Monday 23 July 6pm, All Saints Biddenden. Given by the adult pupils, young students of Marian Robertson. All welcome. Retiring collection to support All Saints Church.
‘Chartfest’ is an open afternoon in the garden of Great Chart Rectory. There will be live music, and BBQ food to buy. Bring your own drinks, and blanket or deckchairs: sit in the sun and enjoy the music. Saturday 28 July 3-7pm. More information  contact

Morning Prayer: Alex prays most mornings in Church. You are welcome to join Alex. Mon, Tues & Weds, 8.30am – Biddenden. Thursday 8.30am – Smarden. However, please be aware services can change at short notice so please speak to Alex if you plan to join him.

Some changes to services in August: No evening services. There will be one 8am BCP Communion service on 19th August, and no service of Morning Worship in Biddenden. Other services as normal.

A student ordinand Simon Dickson, will be shadowing Alex from 24 July to 5 August. He will be helping with some pastoral duties, and we hope the parishes will give him a warm welcome.

Biddenden Tractorfest this year takes place on 18-19 August near the Woolpack Corner. Once again, All Saints will be organising the Village Tea Tent where 100+ cakes will be eagerly consumed.
