All Saints PCC is preparing to open up new areas in the Churchyard for burials. We currently have room for another 4 burials. We have sent our proposals to the Diocese of Canterbury, which will then be considered by the Commissary General for the Diocese. Part of the process requires us to consult with the community,  details of our proposal are shown in the links below, or can be viewed in church.  Please write to Tanya Ling our PCC secretary if you have any comments.

Pew cushion group will  resume 8th January 2020.

Ignatian style retreat opportunity in March 2020, for those asking questions about the direction of their lives. March 24th to March 26th 2020, Wychroft Retreat house, Surrey. Further details at the back of church or from Alex.

This is no Walk Church in December.

John Mayne School have an open invitation for anyone to join them at their KS1 Nativity play this Tuesday 10 Dec at 9.15am and at 10.45am for their KS2 concert.

Hearing the Gospel of St. Matthew in Advent. Covering just 4 sesResidential Holiday Inn, Wrothamsions, we read the entire Gospel of Matthew. Remaining dates 12th Dec, Tues 17th Dec, and 9th Jan, 7:30pm. Venue is in supporting High Halden. All welcome. Please contact Alex for further details.

Smarden Christmas Tree Festival starts this coming Friday 13 to 15 December from 11am to 6pm each day. Please come and enjoy the beautifully decorated trees, raffle, enjoy home produce stalls and mulled wine and mince pies will be on offer. Rhythm of Life Choir is returning to St. Michael’s church next Saturday 14 December at 7pm. Tickets are £8 for adults or £4 for students on the door or at West End House Gallery.

Smarden Village Carol Service is next Sunday 15 December starting at 6.30pm at St. Michael.

Cranbrook Brass Band will play carols outside Zion chapel in Smarden on Thursday 19 December at 7.30pm.

Biddenden Village Carol Service will be on Sunday 22 December starting at 6pm.

Christingle making: Please help us with the challenge of making 160 Christingles! Christmas Eve at 10am, All Saints Biddenden. Many hands make light work, and make it more fun. We’ll have fresh coffee, tea, and juice available.
